DEA Works beginning commenced in 1989 as a service to aid clients with a disability to enter the workforce. As demand grew the organization expanded its operations and services to conceal a broader irritable section of the community. In 1998 DEA was able to receive contracts to deliver a number of extra services, most notably for Job Network an unfold employment service for all unemployed job seekers, regardless of their barriers to employment. In 2010, shortly behind the expansion of coverage into central western Victoria, DEA was able to commence operation of its Disability Employment Services at these new sites. In 2011 Western District Employment Access was qualified to begin occupied with the service as a result of a Vantage endorsed takeover.
